Glasgow/Hybrid | Permanent | Salary to £60k

Brand new opportunity to the market to join our Glasgow-based Fintech client, specialising in managed Cloud provision. The business is now recruiting for a seasoned Senior Systems Engineer, as they continue to grow their tech team from their state‑of‑the‑art tech hub.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain and automate infrastructure and service delivery, ensuring high availability, security and scalability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively, adopting an automation‑first approach.
• Work proactively in a fast‑paced environment, continuously improving system performance.

Key experience (a blend of):

• Proven experience in automation and configuration management (Ansible, Packer, Terraform)
• Knowledge of networking
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion
• Windows administration
• Dev Ops/Cloud knowledge
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling (Bit Bucket, Jenkins)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana)

The role offers a hybrid working model and a pay range of approximately £60k.
