Full-Stack Engineer – Finance Technology

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

We’re hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to join a high-impact Finance & Regulatory Technology team within a top-tier global investment bank. This team is responsible for building strategic, cloud-first data solutions and modernising legacy platforms that support critical regulatory reporting across the firm.

You’ll work as part of a collaborative Agile squad, building scalable backend services and data pipelines while partnering closely with Finance and Regulatory stakeholders. • Design and build full-stack applications for finance and regulatory reporting
• Develop Java backend services and Spark-based data pipelines
• Modernise existing systems into scalable, cloud-native solutions
• Handle complex datasets and ensure data integrity across platforms
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops processes, and automated testing frameworks

• Strong core Java skills (Scala knowledge is a plus)
• Hands‑on experience with Spark or other distributed computing tools
• Familiarity with Azure or similar cloud platforms
• Experience working with relational and/or cloud databases (Snowflake, Sybase)
• Front‑end development using Angular or similar frameworks
• Agile and Dev Ops mindset
