Head of AI & Data Products (Edinburgh)

Our client is looking for an outcome-focused, hands‑on leader to design, deliver, and evolve AI and data‑powered products that drive real strategic impact. In this position, you’ll blend modern product management with data governance, transforming how an organisation leverages insights and automation.

• Lead the full product lifecycle for AI and data products – from discovery to adoption and continuous improvement.
• Transform static reports into dynamic, predictive insights that inform decision‑making.
• Own internal data governance and cataloguing practices, driving adoption and usability.
• Build and maintain product roadmaps that connect data work to measurable strategic outcomes.
• Foster data literacy and promote responsible AI across the organisation.
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align data product delivery with organisational goals.
• Design and automate strategic KPIs to enable informed, transparent decision‑making.

• Proven experience as a senior product or delivery manager / owner, delivering impactful AI, data, or platform products.
• Expertise in modern data governance, data cataloguing (e.g. Microsoft Purview or equivalents), and quality management.
• Experience managing research or insight teams, embedding modern practices for dynamic insights.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and change leadership skills, with a record of influencing at senior levels.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and intelligent automation applications is highly desirable.
• Passion for embedding responsible AI and data ethics in all work.
