Network Support Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to support, maintain, and improve enterprise network infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional with solid experience in network operations, troubleshooting, and security, capable of supporting business‑critical connectivity.

You will work closely with IT, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure network availability, performance, and reliability.

• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Support routing, switching, and firewall configurations
• Manage and maintain network security and access controls
• Support VPNs, remote access, and site‑to‑site connectivity
• Perform network upgrades, patching, and maintenance
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and asset records
• Provide escalation support for network‑related incidents

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Network Engineer or Network Support role
• Strong hands‑on experience with :
• Routing & switching (TCP / IP, VLANs, STP)
• LAN / WAN technologies
• Wireless networking
• Experience troubleshooting :
• Network outages
• Performance and latency issues
• Connectivity and access problems
• Familiarity with :
• Firewalls and network security concepts
• VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

• Experience with enterprise networking vendors (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.)
• Exposure to cloud networking (Azure / AWS – advantage)
• Understanding of network monitoring tools
• Experience working in enterprise or MSP environments

• Degree or diploma in IT, Networking, or a related field (preferred)
• Relevant certifications (advantage) :
• CCNA / CCNP
• CompTIA Network+
• Vendor‑specific networking certifications
