• Lead the strategy and day‑to‑day delivery of Aggreko’s global IT infrastructure and service operations, including our service desk, ensuring technology enables people to do their best work.
• Guide the evolution of our network, cloud, data centre, and end‑user computing platforms—making sure they are secure, reliable, scalable, and designed with the future in mind.
• Inspire, coach, and develop a diverse global team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellent customer service, with a strong focus on “shift-left” ways of working.
• Develop trusted relationships with key vendors, working collaboratively to unlock innovation, maximise value, and ensure responsible management of third‑party spend.
• Establish clear governance and ways of working in partnership with Enterprise Architecture and IT Security, maintaining ISO
  27001 certification and supporting SOX compliance.
• Ensure strong performance across core ITIL processes, including Major Incident and cyber incident response, helping the organisation stay resilient in critical moments.
• Use service insights, SLAs, KPIs, and automation to enhance service quality, efficiency, and user experience over time.

• Experience delivering IT services at scale in a global environment, with the ability to balance stability, innovation and user needs.
• Strong commercial awareness and a collaborative approach to building effective vendor partnerships.
• Strategic thinking, with the ability to set clear direction in a complex and evolving technology landscape.
• Inclusive leadership skills—able to motivate, support and empower teams while managing competing priorities.
• A practical, delivery-focused mindset and a genuine passion for improving user experience and operational excellence.
