Mobile Vehicle Technician – Glasgow at The AA

The role of a Service Maintenance and Repair Technician is multifaceted and impactful. As part of our mobile mechanic team you will attend appointments completing service inspections, breakdowns and on‑the‑spot repairs, keeping customers’ vehicles running smoothly.

What will I be doing?
  • Communicator – explain diagnoses and solutions in a customer‑friendly manner.
  • Self‑starter – work independently or within a team, driving to various locations in all weathers.
  • Problem solver – use technical skills to resolve a variety of vehicle issues on the roadside or at appointments.
  • Represent the AA – be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation, providing confidence for drivers now and in the future.
What do I need?
  • NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with the right experience.
  • Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings.
