General Assistant; Cleaning Team

General Assistant (Cleaner) at Everlast Gyms - 20-hour-per-week part‑time position in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. Mission: maintain cleanliness and safety in studios and facilities.

• Carry out thorough cleaning of all areas including gym floors, equipment, studios, locker rooms, showers, and communal spaces.
• Sanitise and disinfect surfaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Empty bins, replace liners, and follow waste disposal procedures.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, notifying management when stock is low.
• Work alongside the gym team to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Uphold Everlast Gyms’ cleanliness and safety standards at all times.

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but not essential – full training provided.
• High attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation, and safe chemical handling (training provided if needed).
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• A good communicator and team player.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends in line with gym opening hours.
