Operations Manager, Scotland – Voi Technology
At Voi, we’re committed to transforming urban mobility. Since our launch in 2018, we’ve become the #1 e-scooter operator in Europe, operating in 12 countries and over 110 cities. We’re currently looking for a Fleet (Operations) Manager for Scotland.
Responsibilities- Set up and continuously improve operational workflows by applying best practices while localising and contributing new improvements to the wider fleet management community.
- Run efficient and H&S compliant operations, including field logistics, repair operations and facility management – both in daily operations and negotiations with landlords.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous monitoring of KPIs, taking immediate action where necessary to improve performance.
- Manage relationships with local 3PL partners on a strategic and day‑to‑day level with the support of your team.
- Own the delivery of defined targets for the operation in your city or region, including budget goals around operating costs.
- Recruit, onboard and engage required roles to keep the business running all year round.
- Plan workforce and facilities capacity to always meet demand and achieve the lowest cost of operating possible.
- Maximise fleet availability – keep all vehicles on the street available to users as many hours of the day as possible.
- Foster a collaborative and friendly working environment, driving best‑in‑class performance.
- Ensure a safe work environment, ensuring operational vehicles, facilities and personnel adhere to Health & Safety guidelines and policies.
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, production or similar.
- Experience managing a large team of people.
- Understanding of business management, financial principles and proficiency in MS Office, G‑suite.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Able to work and structure your work independently with little management oversight.
- Available to be on the warehouse site up to 90% of your time and to travel to markets/warehouses when needed.
