Projects Team Manager (CPGI)

Full time, Permanent We are seeking a highly skilled Projects Team Manager (CPGI) to lead the delivery of capital projects that enhance and improve our diverse property portfolio. This is a senior role requiring strategic thinking, technical expertise, and strong leadership to manage professional teams and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities Manage professional and technical staff to deliver projects efficiently within challenging timescales and budgets. Oversee and deliver the Capital Plan, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements (CDM, HASWA, DDA, Asbestos, Legionella). Identify opportunities for redevelopment, refurbishment, and rationalisation of the portfolio. Assemble and manage collaborative project teams and supply chains. Ensure robust resource management, programming, and cost control. Prepare accurate reports and provide professional advice to senior stakeholders and the Board.

Champion Health & Safety and promote safe working practices. Deputise for the Building Services and Projects Manager when required. Essential Requirements Full UK driving licence. Professional membership of a relevant construction body (e.g., RICS, RIAS, RIBA, APM, CIOB). Proven experience managing professional teams and delivering construction projects within budget and programme. Experience managing a Capital Plan and public sector procurement routes.

Strong leadership, communication, and report-writing skills. Ability to manage priorities, make reasoned decisions under pressure, and demonstrate commercial acumen. Desirable Membership of the Association for Project Management. LLM in Construction Law or PRINCE2 certification.

Experience with BIM/CAD and Microsoft Project. Background in managing diverse non-domestic assets.
