General Labor, Material Handler
- Ensure conduct and behaviour to be compliant with Wincanton Health & Safety legislation and guidelines
- Work in a team environment
- Operate customer & Wincanton IT systems as required
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately
- A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site
- Undertake all training necessary to fulfil the requirement of flexibility to enable presence within any required areas of the warehouse
- To undertake such additional duties as may be reasonably required for the effective role
- Ensure time and attendance within Company set standards
- Be available for call out work as part of an existing team
- Flexibility - overtime requirements
- Ensure that any issues are escalated to management
- Carry out operational tasks as requested in order to achieve departmental and site objectives
- React to change due to operational and client requirements and carrying out duties in a professional and timely fashion
- Ensure the correct handling of all client products is carried out at all stages within the facility
- Complete all relevant documentation as required in order to provide a quality service to our client and, therefore, contributing to greater operational efficiency
- Be committed to continuous improvement in line with operational needs, constantly striving for increased efficiency, productivity and growth

• Able to provide and understand the need for a high standard of customer service
• A proactive, flexible and "can do" attitude to resolve issues and challenges
• The individual needs to be able to demonstrate attention to detail and an accurate and precise way of working
• PC literate and numerate with good communication skills, including a minimum of a basic understanding of Microsoft Office as required
• Ability to work as part of a team but also independently and to show initiative
• Flexibility is required regarding shift patterns
• Possess a positive attitude with a keen and enthusiastic approach
• Ability to use IT Systems in accordance with training provided
• Attention to detail required to assume quality checking/quality control
• Ability to train others to a high standard
• Compliance with manual handling procedures
