The CNC Machinist will operate and program CNC machinery, primarily a DMG 180 5‑axis machine with a Siemens Shop Mill control. The position also includes self‑inspection of finished goods, maintaining process control, and following all health‑safety guidelines within the shopfloor environment.

• Operate and program CNC machinery, including the 5‑axis DMG 180 Siemens Shop Mill control.
• Set and machine components using own initiative.
• Perform quality‑assurance inspection of parts according to drawings.
• Maintain efficiency records of equipment.
• Perform safety and housekeeping tasks.
• Perform all machine‑safety start‑up duties.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks.

• Strong numeracy and mathematical skills.
• Mechanical skills.
• Ability to operate CNC milling machines and manual machinery, including jib cranes.

Machinist apprenticeship or equivalent experience.

Machining experience in a manufacturing setting.

Experience operating CNC milling machines is essential.
