OverviewCCG OSM specialises in the off‑site manufacture of closed‑panel timber systems, operating from one of the most advanced facilities in the UK. The company principally serves the construction arm of the CCG Group, delivering housing and care homes across the country.
Responsibilities- Assist in the manufacture of closed‑panel timber systems, including wall panels and floor cassettes.
- Follow on‑screen drawings and maintain high quality standards.
- Operate early and back shift schedules to support the ongoing expansion of the Group’s construction activities across the Central Belt.
- Work safely, efficiently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail while following on‑screen drawings.
- Takes pride in themselves and their work.
- Ability to drive themselves to achieve and surpass targets.
- Good attitude and desire to work in a professional manner.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Works in an organised and tidy manner.
- Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
- High standard of time‑keeping and attendance.
- Able to engage with the leadership team and colleagues to encourage the growth of ideas and support new initiatives to improve efficiencies and productivity.
Early shift: 06:00 to 14:00 Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week, 30‑minute break each day)
Back shift: 14:00 to 22:00 Monday to Thursday;
Thursday 14:00 to 18:00 (34 hours per week, 30‑minute break each day) + 10.5% shift allowance on back shift.
£15.25 to £16.92 D.O.E. (annual salary). There is also an opportunity to earn an incentive for achieving targets on a weekly basis, paid annually.
Starting salary of £13.65 with an opportunity to earn up to £14.75 when fully trained and experienced. There is also an opportunity to earn an incentive for achieving targets on a weekly basis that is paid bi‑annually.
