- Provide an accessible, appropriate, high‑quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community, working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies.
- Function as an independent autonomous practitioner, bringing in‑depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience to support and enable the district nursing team.
- Provide skilled nursing interventions for patients within the caseload and support care delivery in hours and out‑of‑hours periods.
- Coordinate workload, delegate work to other staff and provide support to other members of the district nursing team.
- Participate in the back‑shift, weekend and public‑holiday rota. A current driving licence, PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland check and valid registration are required.
- Registered nurse with a specialist district nursing qualification.
- In‑depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience in district nursing care.
- Current driving licence.
- PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland check.
