Overview
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. The Plastic Surgery Unit is based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and covers the West of Scotland. The unit includes consultant clinics, an OPD following surgery for skin cancer, breast cancer and traumatic injuries, and a wound care clinic within OPD where RNs provide wound care to the patient group.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team with medical staff, nurses, healthcare support workers, physiotherapists and specialist nurses. We also work closely with peripheral hospitals and refer patients to community colleagues in local treatment rooms and District Nursing Teams.
The shift pattern for this post is:
Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00. Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours. You need to have a live NMC UK pin in order to be considered for this post.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the Plastic Surgery Unit based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
