Overview

This role supports the Tool Hire division by building strong customer relationships, promoting sales, and ensuring safe, efficient equipment hire.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain profitable customer relationships, handling complaints, preparing orders, and ensuring safe loading and unloading of tools, plant, and alloy towers.
- Process sales orders and delivery schedules accurately and promptly.
- Support company initiatives such as improving customer experience, coordinating Tool Hire reports, and maintaining Health & Safety procedures.
- Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks and assist with managing stock levels, including receiving goods, checking delivery tickets, and participating in stock takes.
- Provide an efficient hire experience, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills throughout the working day.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and provide specialist advice to customers.
- Full driving licence – B+E, D1+E categories.
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and procedures.
- Relevant understanding of the market and product knowledge.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Flexible, enthusiastic attitude and commitment to delivering great customer experiences.
- Good organisational skills to manage stock.
- GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.
- Experience in a sales/customer focused role.
- IT literate.
- HGV driving experience is not essential; newly qualified drivers are welcomed.
- Previous experience within the Tool Hire industry.
