Technical Car Part Product Specialist

Do you have experience and a passion working with motor/car parts? Are you a confident individual who is happy promoting products? If so this role could be for you!

Our industry leading client is currently recruiting a Technical Product Specialist to conduct pre-booked visits to existing customers for a promotional campaign. Due to the nature of the products and clients a strong knowledge and background in the automotive industry is required.

This is a minimum of a 6 month contract (paid weekly) but intentions are to make the role permanent in 2027. This role involves continuous travelling and some overnight stays (Approx. 2 nights a week) so please only apply if you are willing to accommodate this.

Promote products across selected regions in Scotland by visiting independent garages and installers.

• Daily visits:
  Up to 10 garages per day
• Visit duration:
  Approx. 15 minutes each
• Purpose:
  • Present a new premium product available through our distributor.
  • Distribute promotional leaflets and contact information.
  • Briefly introduce additional product where relevant.
• Support:
  • Promoters will work alongside Distributor Sales Representatives.
  • Garage lists will be provided by distributors.
  • Full support and training will be provided with attendance on-site during the start to ensure alignment.

Salary is £19.00 per hour and includes a company car with mileage allowance, laptop and mobile phone. Working Monday to Friday with an average of 40 hours per week but may require some flexibility.

This is an automotive business, therefore a technical / mechanical automotive background is required.
