Family Support Coordinator
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Contract/
Hours:
Permanent / Full Time – 37 hours per week including evenings and weekends
Salary: £31,900 per annum
Closing date: Midnight on Monday 1st September

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior personnel and management to assess and enhance service delivery, fostering continuous improvement, innovation, and business growth, especially in designated work areas.
- Support children, young people, and families by designing and implementing interventions, and coordinating with various agencies and professionals.
- Engage in key multi‑agency activities, such as organising and leading service planning sessions, conducting home visits, and overseeing conference meetings when suitable.
- Lead and manage staff directly, enforcing relevant policies and procedures, and fostering growth through coaching and mentorship.
- Significant post‑qualification experience of working with children, young people and/or families in a multi‑agency environment and achieving positive outcomes through intervention.
- Manage and develop subordinate staff or a team.
- Advanced experience of chairing, supporting and contributing to service planning meetings.
- Experience with the development and practice of community working, including influencing involvement.
- Work collaboratively to achieve change within your immediate team and wider multi‑agency partnerships.
- Experience collating and producing reports, capturing and progressing relevant information for desired outcomes.
- Effective partnership working experience.
Qualifications and
Experience:
- Post‑qualification experience working with children, young people, and families in a multi‑agency environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing staff.
- Demonstrated ability to chair and contribute to service planning meetings.
- Experience in community working and influencing involvement.
- Strong reporting and partnership working skills.
