Repairs Coordinator (Service Coordinator)
Job SummaryBased in our Glasgow office, the Repairs Coordinator is responsible for managing repair work, coordinating with customers and internal teams, and ensuring efficient operation of the repair order book.
Responsibilities- Update internal systems upon receipt of customer orders, insurance work, and other documentation.
- Maintain regular contact with customers via email and telephone to agree suitable dates for repair works.
- Order materials as required, supporting technicians with any technical queries.
- Manage inbound materials and arrange distribution to in‑house engineers and subcontractors.
- Close down repairs upon completion, ensuring monthly targets are achieved.
- Manage the live order book, forecast production, and provide accurate reporting to management.
- Guide customer expectations on the company’s services.
- Support the regional office service administration functions, including the call schedule.
- Experience building effective relationships with internal and external customers, earning their trust and respect.
- Confident and proficient at using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), databases and online portals, working independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills: approachable, organized and able to meet demanding deadlines.
