The Role

Programme Management Excellence (PMX) is looking for dynamic and high‑performing graduates to join their team of over 100 programme delivery professionals across the UK. As a Graduate Project Manager you will be engaged from day one in a “real” job, working within experienced project delivery teams and balancing the demands of time, cost and scope.

Your role will require a flexible and adaptable approach to fast‑paced challenges, interfacing with various support disciplines and communicating with customers and senior leadership. You will be expected to solve real‑life problems and contribute directly to achieving business goals.

In this role you will support a range of technically challenging, high‑profile projects, establish effective customer relationships, deliver projects on time, meet quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction. You will also have the opportunity to visit customers and suppliers nationally and internationally.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • Minimum 2:2 undergraduate degree in Project Management, Business Management, STEM (preferred) or a level‑qualified degree with a focus on Project Management & Leadership (completed or to be completed by 7 September 2026)
  • Completion and possession of SC Security Clearance (application required)
  • Flexibility on location and ability to travel to UK facilities and overseas
  • Excellent STEM skills demonstrated through academic achievement
  • Passion for succeeding in a fast‑paced technology industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships
  • A full CV, including university and pre‑university grades, and a cover letter explaining why you are applying
