Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC) is looking for an administrator to work with our Child & Adolescence Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Children's Autism and ADHD Assessment Service (CAAAS). This busy, enthusiastic multi‑disciplinary team assesses neuro‑divergent young people and offers support immediately following diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities- Provide effective administrative support to the Children’s Autism and ADHD service (CAAAS).
- Develop a thorough understanding of the service and its processes, including referral pathways and links with other CAMHS services.
- Produce quality typed work using audio or digital dictation, as well as copy typing to produce letters, reports, etc.; ensure all communication is professional, accurate and formatted in line with Trust guidelines.
- Efficiently use appropriate systems to collect, collate and report data and information in an accurate format (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and be willing to learn the Trust’s clinical database/recording system (RiO).
- Maintain a well‑managed filing system, both paper and electronic, in line with Trust protocols.
- Support planning and recording of rotas, including annual leave and screening, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date information is available to the team in a timely manner.
- Actively support team meetings by coordinating, collating and ensuring accurate and timely distribution of papers; prepare well‑written minutes that are effectively distributed.
- Participate in team meetings and discussions with colleagues and managers to suggest improvements within your work area, and implement changes with line manager guidance.
- Respond to all colleagues in a positive, professional, and helpful manner; build good working relationships, especially with colleagues in education.
- Communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including colleagues and the public, maintaining a professional approach.
- Use initiative to prioritize workload and meet deadlines; propose changes to working practices to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all confidential paperwork is filed or shredded promptly and securely.
- Assist with workload in the absence of colleagues, maintaining a robust and quality service.
- Carry out general administrative tasks for the department to agreed standards and timescales, e.g., photocopying, sending correspondence and documents.
- Be flexible in traveling/working between all Trust sites as and when required.
- Undertake any other administrative duties as and when required.
- Act in ways that support equality and value diversity; treat everyone with dignity and respect and recognise and report behaviour that undermines equality and diversity.
- Undertake other support functions requested by the B4 Lead Administrators.
- Work within the guidance of the Trust’s policies and procedures.
