This is a full-time on-site role for a Hire Desk Assistant based in Gloucester. The Hire Desk Assistant will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, coordinating equipment rentals, and ensuring the seamless execution of hire operations. The role requires effective communication with clients, scheduling equipment deliveries and collections, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring exceptional customer service standards are met. The successful candidate will also provide administrative support to the team and liaise with suppliers and stakeholders as needed.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in administrative tasks, record-keeping, and use of office software
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive and resourceful mindset
• Experience in equipment hire, construction, or a related industry is a valuable asset
