Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a franchise-approved vehicle dealer group located in Gloucester.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

• Starting salary up to £18 per hour pending experience.
• Personal related bonus providing a £48,000 annual on-target-earnings.
• Overtime, subject to availability, paid at an enhanced rate of time and a half.

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles.
• Ensure that workmanship quality and Health & Safety (HSE) procedures relating to the task at hand are always adhered to.
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards.

• A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• A Current and Valid UK Driving License.
• Dedicated and committed approach.
• Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
• Ideally have at least 1 to 2 years  practical experience post-qualification.

The salary of this role is up to £37,440 basic with OTE of £48,000.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are 40-hours a week, Mon-Fri on an early/late shift rota. Week one: 6:00am-2:30pm. Week two: 1:30pm-10:00pm.
