Health & Safety Advisor

A great opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join an established Civil Engineering contractor. We are recruiting for a H&S Advisor to join a regional groundworks company that partners with new housing developers across Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties. Reporting to a Health & Safety Manager you will be responsible for ensuring health and safety legislation and company policies are adhered to across multiple construction projects.
As Health & Safety Advisor you will:
 
* Support and provide information to site ensuring compliance with all requirements in the construction plans.
 
* Support investigations of incidents including close call and near miss on site.
 
* Identifying training needs
 
* Assist in the production of Health and Safety plans, procedures and associated documentation and check Compliance.
Our client is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor with:
 
* Sound knowledge of Civil Engineering/ Construction methods, ideally in a new housing environment
 
* Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety or previous experience in a similar role
 
* Problem solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
Salary/Benefits:
 * £45,000 - £55,00 per annum
 
* Company car/car allowance
