Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:00

I'm looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of new and existing fluid-handling products. This role focuses on delivering innovative, compliant and manufacturable engineering solutions from concept through to production.

The Role

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies, improving existing products and creating new concepts

Produce 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs and documentation using Solid Works within a PDM environment

Apply DFM/DFA principles, safety standards and compliance requirements

Perform FEA using Solid Works Simulation and prepare clear technical reports

Support prototyping, testing and validation, iterating designs based on results

Collaborate with Product Management, Production, Quality and Supply Chain

Contribute to design reviews, risk assessments and project lifecycle activities

Create visualisations or renders for internal and external use

Maintain accurate engineering data and version control

About You

HND/Bachelor's in Mechanical or Product Design Engineering (or related discipline)

5+ years' experience in mechanical product design/development, ideally including fluid-handling equipment

Skilled in Solid Works 3D CAD and familiar with PDM systems

Experience with FEA, DFMA, GD&T and testing processes

Strong communication, attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Self-motivated, able to work independently and meet deadlines

Desirable:
Solid Works certification, exposure to electrical integration, chemical dosing experience, and stage-gate processes
