Our client, a specialist in drainage, utility services, and civil engineering infrastructure, is seeking a Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is a hands-on, influential role where you’ll manage commercial strategy, oversee project costs and contracts, and guide a small commercial team.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage project budgets from initial estimates through to final accounts
* Lead contract negotiation, procurement, and subcontractor management
* Identify, mitigate, and manage commercial and contractual risks
* Provide commercial leadership and support to project teams
* Mentor and develop junior commercial staff
* Visit project sites every 2–3 weeks (travel and accommodation fully covered)
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in cost management, commercial oversight, and contract administration
* Ability to lead, mentor, and support a commercial team
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and cost/estimating software
* Background in civil engineering, drainage, utilities, or infrastructure projects
