Mechanical Design Engineer

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the enclosure design of ruggedised electronic equipment serving the Defence and Cyber‑security sectors.

• Produce 2D and 3D detail drawings through Solid Works.
• Create drawing packs and bill of materials supporting prototype builds.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure design objectives are met.
• Support the development and validation of ruggedised electronic equipment.

• Experience in 2D and 3D detail drawing using Solid Works.
• Proficient in creating drawing packs and bill of materials.
• Security clearance required – you must be able to obtain clearance, and have lived in the UK for at least 10 years.
• Strong understanding of design for Defence and Cyber‑security requirements.
