About the RoleYour knowledge, communication and influence skills will be respected by managers across the organisation at all levels.
You will provide guidance and support on a wide range of procurement and contract issues, run tenders for goods and services ensuring compliance with council and legislative requirements, and support the procurement of services and goods with value for money, social value and climate change considerations.

About YouYou could be someone with procurement or commissioning skills and experience, a contract manager or legal background within local government or the public sector.
Ideal candidates have knowledge of public sector procurement policies, procedures, and systems as well as relevant legislation and regulations, are highly organised and analytical, with good IT skills, and able to meet demanding targets, timescales and budgets. Good communication and negotiating skills are essential.
