Overview
Substance Misuse ANP for a Prison in Gloucester. Dream Medical work with secure environments across the UK and offer challenging, rewarding opportunities for healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Work holistically with service users based on individualized care packages identified through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning.
- Provide a programme of interventions and give information and advice on substance misuse, alcohol, smoking cessation, blood-borne viruses and safe sex practices.
- Non-medical prescribing qualification.
- Previous experience working in a prison is essential.
- Current prison clearance is desirable but not essential.
- Cover is required across seven days per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Flexible hours with no minimum commitment; shifts from a minimum of 4 hours.
