Team Leader - Integrated , Band 7, Care Home Team, Psychiatry of Old Age, Kingsway Care Centre

We are looking for a Manager/Team Lead to oversee our Care Home Team based at Kingsway Care Centre. You will be responsible for supporting and supervising a team of Registered General Nurses, Registered Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers and an Occupational Therapist.

• You have an interest in working with older people living in a care home setting.
• You have experience working with people with a mental illness, including dementia and other diagnoses associated with the elderly.
• You have a 1st level registration in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent.
• You must be able to manage a generic caseload, possess good written and oral skills and have a good level of knowledge surrounding the care of older people.
• You should be able to work independently as well as part of and leading a team.
• You must work with and lead multiple disciplines as part of a fully integrated team.
• You will be required to travel to various care homes within the Dundee area and sometimes beyond.
• You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
