HR Advisor

• Provide practical, consistent HR advice across recruitment, disciplinaries, absence, performance, grievances and more.

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for production, technical and apprentice roles interviews, testing, onboarding.

• Prepare offer letters and contracts, ensure Right-to-Work compliance, and maintain accurate HR records.

• Carry out HR audits and support the business in staying compliant.

• Deliver and support HR projects that actually matter, not just shelf-filler initiatives.

• Handle confidential and sensitive information with absolute integrity and GDPR awareness.

• Provide accurate information to payroll to keep payday calm and drama-free.

• CIPD Level 3 or 5, with around three years HR experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• A solid understanding of HR best practice and employment law, and the confidence to advise without over complicating things.

• Experience with HR systems; knowledge of Crown is a bonus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• The ability to stay calm, organised and professional when things get busy.

• A collaborative, supportive and proactive approach with good relationship-building skills.

• High integrity, confidentiality and a keen eye for detail.

This role is based on-site in Gloucester a well-connected area with the bonus of an early finish on Fridays.
