Permanent role with a basic salary of £75,000 (hybrid working model, 2–3 days a week in the office in Gloucestershire, Cotswolds).

The purpose of this role is to lead the development function in delivering scalable, automated and data‑driven business systems that enable the company’s transformation strategy. Reporting to the Head of Transformation, the Lead Developer will focus on hands‑on development, integration and optimisation of Salesforce, Net Suite, Halo (or similar), and associated middleware.

Role Duties General

• Deliver the system changes and enhancements determined by the Transformation Team, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with transformation.

Solution Design, Delivery, Administration, and Operation

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient solutions for CRM (Salesforce), ERP (Net Suite), ITSM (TBD), MDR (TBD), other corporate platforms, and transition.
• Document technical designs and support governance frameworks as required.

Development, Integration, and Automation

• Build and customise applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Suite Script, and .NET/C#.
• Develop APIs and middleware for integrations between Salesforce, Net Suite, and ITSM, including the use of third‑party solutions (e.g. Mule Soft).
• Automate real‑time workflows and data migrations across systems.
• Ensure adherence to security standards and data protection regulations.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and transformation consultants to translate requirements into technical solutions and deliver them.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience Required Technical Skills

• Salesforce:
  Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL.
• Net Suite:
  Suite Script, Suite Flow, Suite Cloud, RESTlets, Suite Talk.
• Halo (or similar) ITSM: .NET/C#, REST API.
• General:
  JavaScript, SQL, HTML/CSS, Git, CI/CD.
• Integration: REST/SOAP APIs, middleware.
• Business Intelligence:
  Tableau, data transformation, automated data.
• Azure.

Cross‑Platform Skills

• Object‑Oriented Programming: inheritance, abstraction, design principles.
• Integration: secure, scalable implementations across CRM, ERP, ITSM, and BI.
• Cloud & SaaS: multi‑tenant architectures and API integration.
• Dev Ops: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, version control (Git).
• APIs: REST integrations between SFDC, Net Suite, ITSM, and MDR, including Mule Soft.
• Agile methodology.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and mentoring.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across cross‑functional teams and third parties.
• Agile methodology.
• Relationship management with third‑party developers, integration, and system partners.
• Support company‑wide continuous improvement programmes and lead these initiatives.

Experience

• 8+ years in software development, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Proven track record in multi‑platform integration and business transformation projects, specifically in Salesforce, Net Suite, and enterprise ITSM.

This is a permanent Lead Developer role which would also suit a strong Senior Developer looking to advance their career.

The company is based in Gloucestershire, Cotswolds – onsite presence required; commutable to the office.
