The Role
Lloyd & Whyte, part of the Benefact Group, is expanding its Community Broking team and looking for an Account Executive to join our Gloucester office. This brand‑new branch offers a unique opportunity to grow the business, with great potential for career development.
As an Account Executive, you will deliver sales income targets through effective sales and relationship management techniques, conduct client review meetings, and support the business strategy.
What You'll Be Doing- Provide professional support and advice to clients, delivering exceptional service and holistic insurance reviews, while maximizing cross‑selling opportunities and meeting client expectations.
- Identify new prospects, decision makers, and tender dates; research proactively for outbound calls and run national and regional campaigns.
- Conduct comprehensive market searches to ensure competitive products are offered in accordance with clients’ needs.
- Maintain relationships with key existing clients through review meetings and ongoing communication.
- Work with underwriters to administer new business policies within company guidelines.
- Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance.
- Proven experience and expert knowledge of the UK commercial insurance industry.
- Confident communication and relationship‑building skills; able to engage clients face‑to‑face for an excellent client experience.
- Ability to work in a regulated, compliant, and client‑focused environment.
- Resourceful, organized, deadline‑driven with strong time management and self‑motivation.
- Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma in Insurance or willingness to work toward it.
