Assistant Head of Out of Hospital Pathways, Gloucestershire County Council
Assist in leading the Hospital Discharge and Assessment Team on a 12‑month secondment, providing strategic and operational support to the Head of Service and the Adult Social Care Senior Leadership Team. Drive service improvement, ensure value for money, and deliver high‑quality customer service across the county.
About YouYou are a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England, with proven experience in leadership, management, and development of teams. You have substantial experience working within adult social care, liaising with partner agencies and stakeholders at a senior level, and you are confident and resilient in a fast‑paced environment. In depth knowledge of the legal and policy framework in adult social care is required.
