Team Leader

Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire

Hours: Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00 | Week 2: 14:00 - 22:00 (Monday to Friday)

Key role within the manufacturing function, supervising factory employees and managing daily jobs and workload.

• Supervise and motivate the factory team to ensure all tasks are completed in line with the production plan.
• Implement the daily jobs list and workload schedule to ensure delivery dates and targets are met.
• Complete required paperwork on a daily basis.
• Ensure health & safety is adhered to at all times, reporting incidents to the Production Manager or HSE Manager.
• Complete first aid course and provide first aid when required.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to, reporting any issues to the Production Manager.
• Identify training requirements and assist with training of new employees.
• Identify and suggest improvements within the factory to management.
• Participate in monthly stock take process.
• Communicate daily with management, reporting any issues that arise.
• Participate in training such as fire marshal training, forklift training.
• Co‑ordinate start‑ups, shutdowns and change‑overs to ensure teams commence working at scheduled shift times.
• Open and secure premises.
• Other duties as assigned by management team.

• Previous supervisory/training experience.
• Upbeat, ‘can‑do’ attitude.
• Organised.
• Excellent communication skills.
