Maintenance Engineer Team Leader

Position: Maintenance Engineer Team Leader (Permanent)
My client, a food production company based in the Tewkesbury area is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer Team Leader on a permanent contract.

You will provide support and coaching to the on-site team to ensure minimum downtime for the production team with both mechanical and electrical issues

The main responsibilities of the role includes

- Support Engineering Manager over different shifts
- Deliver plant and reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Maintaining accurate records
- Mentoring apprentices on-site
- Deputizing for Maintenance Manager

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- Minimum of electrical apprenticeship qualification
- Ideally have experience in an FMCG Production environment
- Experience working with automated machinery
- Disciplined to work alone
- Flexible to work across different shifts
- Some previous experience in a team leader role would be preferred

The starting salary is based on 40 hours pw at £20.51 per hour, overtime is paid after 40 hours at time and a quarter
