As Logistics Supervisor, you will lead a team in a dynamic environment, ensuring the efficient receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch of components and products. You will be responsible for compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements, supporting production teams, and driving continuous improvement. You will embody and promote the MRO GEARS values:

Responsibilities

Team Leadership – Goods Inwards, packing, dispatch, and loading activities;
Stock & Materials Management – ensuring compliance with UK and international export regulations;
Scrap Management
, continuous improvement;
Internal Communication – business support within your competency range;
Performance Monitoring – track and report on KPIs.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a logistics supervisory or management role, within aerospace or a process-driven industry.
  • Understanding of import/export regulations is desirable.
  • Experience with warehouse/distribution centre operations.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
  • Ability to multi‑task, prioritise workload, and work under pressure.
  • Customer‑focused, conscientious, flexible approach.
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to challenge the norm and drive positive change.
  • Team player demonstrating accountability and respect.
