Position: Warehouse Assistant (Temporary)
Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant based in Quedgeley, Gloucester, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, Salary: £30,000 per year, Benefits included, Immediate start available for the right person following a successful interview process.

The Role
Pertemps Gloucester are recruiting for a Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant to join a growing operations team in Quedgeley. This role involves preparing orders, coordinating shipments, and supporting daily warehouse operations to meet next-day delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy
Assist with inventory management, stock checks, and maintaining accurate records
Load vehicles with the correct goods for dispatch
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality
Communicate with internal teams and drivers to resolve issues promptly
Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised warehouse in line with 5S principles
Operate Counterbalance/Reach forklifts when required
Key Requirements

Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items
Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Experience with 5S or in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
