Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant

Based in Quedgeley, Gloucester. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Salary: £30,000 per year, benefits included. Immediate start available for the right person following a successful interview process.

Pertemps Gloucester are recruiting for a Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant to join a growing operations team in Quedgeley. This role involves preparing orders, coordinating shipments, and supporting daily warehouse operations to meet next‑day delivery commitments.

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy.
• Assist with inventory management, stock checks, and maintaining accurate records.
• Load vehicles with the correct goods for dispatch.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Communicate with internal teams and drivers to resolve issues promptly.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised warehouse in line with 5S principles.
• Operate Counterbalance/Reach forklifts when required.

• Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with 5S or in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
