Excellent opportunity to join a long-standing firm of chartered accountants in Godalming who are looking to expand their audit team. They are looking for external auditors from newly qualified to manager level, so varying levels of experience are welcome to apply. You'll work for a modern, well-ranked practice and support clients from a range of niche and interesting industries. This practice offers a great work-life balance but without the sacrifice of good quality work.

Due to further expansion, they're looking to recruit an Audit Senior / Assistant Manager into their successful team, where you will be offered a fantastic chance to progress in your career.

• the completion of audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, normally on site at client premises
• planning and completion of audit assignments, whilst ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation
• preparing statutory financial statements from client data and highlighting high level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager whilst using a significant degree of your own judgement
• planning the execution and finalisation of the audit assignments for Partner/Manager review

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Experience of auditing clients within a variety of industries
• Working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP

• Salary will be DOE; market rate is roughly £55,000 for a newly qualified / few years post-qualification and £55,000-£65,000 for more senior.
