Registered Veterinary Nurse

Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking for a dedicated and passionate registered veterinary nurse who can provide advanced nursing care to patients receiving pioneering orthopaedic and neurological treatments. This position is suitable for those who wish to develop their nursing knowledge and skills to the next level and care for patients with more advanced illness and disease.

• Provide anaesthesia, surgical and diagnostic nursing care to patients through preparation, theatre, and recovery.
• Deliver a high level of nursing care to patients throughout the entire anaesthesia/surgical and diagnostic process.
• Work as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Care for patients with a range of conditions using forward-thinking, empathy, and exemplary teamwork.

• RCVS registration
• Full-time role, 40-hour week with a rotating shift pattern and a 1 in 4 weekend rota with days off in lieu.
• Willingness to work as part of a bank holiday rota.
• 12-week induction training with mentorship, ongoing support via quarterly one-to-one meetings and a yearly appraisal.
