We have an exciting opportunity for two Visiting Officers to join a Surrey local authority team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for professionals with strong housing knowledge and experience engaging with tenants and vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct on-site property inspections and gather accurate data.
* Review and understand Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) for residents with specific needs.
* Identify and assess housing-related risks.
* Engage with tenants and vulnerable individuals professionally and empathetically.
* Ensure safeguarding protocols are followed at all times.
Essential Requirements
* Strong housing knowledge and compliance experience.
* Previous experience visiting tenants and vulnerable people.
* Understanding of safeguarding principles.
* Excellent communication skills and risk awareness.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel required).
