Sheet Metal Worker

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Structures Technicians / Sheet Metal Workers to join our team at Fleetlands, working on the Chinook helicopter program. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile rotary‑wing project in a well‑equipped facility.

• Perform structural repairs, modifications, and assembly on Chinook airframes.
• Carry out sheet metal work including drilling, reaming, countersinking, riveting (solid, blind, hi‑lok), and fitting parts to engineering drawings.
• Work with alloys and composites, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and safety requirements.

• Proven experience in aircraft structural or sheet metal work.
• Previous rotary‑wing experience (Chinook preferred) highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of fastener installation, sealant application, and composite repair practices advantageous.

• Competitive hourly rate from £35 per hour.
• Up to 50 hours per week available for maximum earning potential.
