Engineering Instructor - Mechanical​/Electrical

Our client has an opportunity for an Engineering Instructor to join them on a permanent basis in Portsmouth. You will be delivering high-quality technical training in a range of specialist areas. Whether you're an experienced engineer, a recent graduate, or transitioning from the Armed Forces, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications (one of the following required):

Degree in Engineering (mandatory for graduates), OR
Level 3 or Level 4 HND in Engineering
Graduates welcome with an engineering degree

Engineering specialisms of interest:

Mechanical
Electrical
Marine Background that's an advantage (not essential):

Naval or Army engineering experience
What the Role Involves:
You'll be delivering hands-on, practical instruction in areas such as:

Welding
Gunships
Coppersmith work
Pipe fitting
And other engineering disciplines

This is a term-time only position with a fixed working pattern:

Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours
Standard finish at 4:00 PM
Early finish on Fridays
Training & Development:

Full training provided
Opportunity to gain recognised teaching qualifications as part of the career pathway
Security Clearance Requirements:

Must have lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years (eligibility for SE clearance)
Can begin employment on BPSS while clearance progresses
