This temporary role is perfect for those who are eager to make a significant impact in supply chain and support engineering.

What You'll Do:
As a Supply Chain Engineer specialising in Limited Logistic Support Analysis, you will play a crucial role in supporting various UK Programmes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to technical queries related to parts provision and usage on aircraft.
• Reviewing Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) in response to changes in Programme Baselines and advising on spare parts modifications.
• analysing technical documentation to find alternative solutions for long lead time spares orders.
• Collaborating closely with the Product Support (LSA and Technical Publications) team to ensure timely updates to the Aircraft Documentation Set.
• Mentoring team members in effectively utilising technical information.
• Conducting reviews of Maintenance Task Analysis documentation and Vendor data for programme-specific Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).

Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will have:

Essential Qualifications:

• Practical experience with Aviation Mechanical/Avionic systems or Synthetic Training Devices.
• Background in Supply Chain Support Engineering or Product Support.
• Knowledge of Logistics Support Analysis.
• Eligibility for UK SC security clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Understanding of Support Engineering in military environments.
• Familiarity with Aircraft Drawing sets and Technical Drawings.
• Experience in authoring Support Product documentation.
• Degree level education or similar in a relevant Engineering subject is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers.
• Knowledge of international support standards like Def Stan 00-600 and ASD/AIA Suite of S Series ILS Specifications is advantageous.
