** Lead our laboratory excellence and shape the future of quality at Bio Mar
** In this role, you will lead our laboratory operations and ensure that the quality of our products meets the highest industry standards. You will play a central part in supporting our production, commercial teams, and customers by delivering reliable data, strong analytical practices, and a safety-focused laboratory environment.

You will have a visible impact on how we validate raw materials, safeguard product integrity, and support medicated feed compliance, all while guiding a skilled team in a dynamic environment.

** As Laboratory Manager, you will oversee all analytical activities and ensure that laboratory processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with accreditation standards. You will work closely with our Quality, Production, Medicated Feed, Commercial, and Global QC teams to secure reliable data and continuous improvement.

You will also play an important role in maintaining best practices, ensuring equipment reliability, supporting audits, and providing timely insights that keep our production running smoothly.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing quality control testing of raw materials, finished goods, and fish flesh, including validation, benchmarking, and reporting.
* Overseeing laboratory equipment, calibrations, maintenance logs, SOPs, and QA/QC systems to ensure compliance and readiness for audits.
* Supporting medicated feed processes, including stock management, dosage guidance, documentation, and regulatory communication.
* Leading, training, and coaching the laboratory team, ensuring capability development, performance management, and safe working practices.
* Tracking, trending, and interpreting analytical data to provide recommendations, highlight anomalies, and support internal and global stakeholders.

You are confident in laboratory processes, analytical methods, and quality systems, and you take initiative to solve problems and ensure results are delivered right first time.

To succeed in this role, you must have:  
• A bachelor’s degree in Science (Chemistry preferred) or equivalent experience.  
• Previous people management experience.  
• Experience with laboratory methods for QC and understanding of analytical techniques (HPLC, NIR, wet chemistry).  
• Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a basic understanding of statistics.

It would be an advantage if you also bring:  

Experience with Infor M3, work in an accredited or GMP-regulated laboratory, or knowledge of durability and hardness testing.
