As an Accounts Senior, you will be at the heart of our client relationships, ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and impactful. This role is not just about managing accounts; it’s about understanding the unique needs of each client and offering tailored advice that helps them achieve their goals. You will be the trusted advisor, the go-to person who clients rely on for guidance, clarity, and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, becoming their go-to advisor for all financial matters. Understand their goals, challenges, and opportunities, and provide proactive, value-driven advice.
  • Prepare and review annual accounts, management accounts, and financial statements for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are informed of their tax obligations and opportunities.
  • Assisting managers to provide clients with expert advice on financial planning, tax strategies, and business growth, using data-driven insights to help them make informed decisions.
  • Work closely with other members of the team on projects and knowledge sharing to ensure a seamless client experience.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Experience with in a similar role within an accountancy practice
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management
  • Hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, ICAS)
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment
