GM Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead an industrial refurbishment project in Grantham. The role involves managing all on-site activities with a strong focus on groundworks, steel frame construction, and cladding.
Responsibilities- Manage daily site operations from groundwork phase through to steel frame build and cladding
- Supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure high standards of work
- Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, and QS teams to achieve project targets
- Oversee and enforce all Health & Safety requirements on site
- Plan and coordinate materials, equipment, and deliveries
Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and complete risk assessments - Monitor programme progress and report regularly on site performance
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of groundworks and steel frame building methods
- Experience working with cladding systems
- SMSTS and First Aid certifications (essential)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
