Mortgage Advisor

Role

As a mortgage advisor you will be helping people find and apply for the right mortgage and making sure they are fully informed about what's available.

Working in a customer's best interests, it's down to you to find the best mortgage based on their situation and finances, and guide them through the whole process.

• Dealing with estate agents, valuers and mortgage lenders.
• Keeping up to date with the current market and laws.
• Working closely with your clients.
• Advising clients on the home buying process.
• Explaining about repayments and mortgage protection.
• Offering a number of mortgage options primarily over the phone.
• Selling related financial products such as buildings or life insurance.
• Selling whole of market mortgages primarily over the phone.
• Attending property industry events to generate leads.
• Perform any additional duties/activities assigned by management.

• CeMAP or equivalent.

Our client area well established Financial Services organisation based on the outskirts of Lincoln.

They are looking for a highly experienced professional with the ability to be able to understand the first charge mortgage market. You will be taking enquiries and placing them with the relevant lenders from a panel, assisting the administration team whilst ensuring there is a smooth process for each completion.
