Management Accounting Analyst

Overview

Valmetal is seeking a management accounting analyst to act as a power user in the rollout of a new ERP system across all our subsidiaries, combining accounting, business analysis, and technology to help shape the future of the Valmetal Group.

Under the supervision of the IT Director, you’ll be at the heart of our IT infrastructure, providing technical support to users, ensuring systems run smoothly, and contributing to the company’s technological evolution.

• Actively participate in the ERP implementation across all group subsidiaries, with a focus on modules related to manufacturing, cost management, inventory, and accounting.
• Serve as a functional resource (power user) for financial, manufacturing, and cost management modules.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure a consistent and business-driven implementation across the group.
• Contribute to process validation, system configuration, testing, user training, and post-implementation support.
• Participate in documenting processes, data flows, and business rules with a focus on control, harmonization, and continuous improvement.
• Support the digital transformation of the finance function.

• University degree in accounting or business administration
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in management accounting within a multi-site, multi-currency environment
• Hands-on experience with ERP implementation (financial and manufacturing modules)
• Proficiency in spoken and written French; functional English (8/10) required to collaborate with teams in Canada and the United States; bilingualism is considered an asset
