Tax Partner Designate - Chartered Accountants Firm, Gravesend, Kent

TPF Recruitment is supporting a fantastic firm of chartered accountants seeking a Tax Partner Designate to join their team based in Gravesend, Kent. The role will be tailored to the candidate's experience and aspirations, and can focus on personal tax, corporate tax, or a combination of both.

As a Tax Partner Designate, you will work closely with the Tax Partners and wider Partners, servicing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses. You will be supported by an experienced team and enjoy significant autonomy over your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing personal or corporate tax-efficient strategies

Providing support to clients with complex UK and international tax issues

Corporate:
Handling basic tax planning, cross-border tax structuring, deal tax structuring activities, restructuring, R&D, EIS, capital allowances

Personal:
Supporting the Head of Tax with projects such as dividend planning, CGT, trusts, non-domicile, VCT, IHT

Overseeing a team of junior tax staff

Ensuring quality of work in personal and corporate tax within agreed costs and timescales

Collaborating with Tax Partners to grow and develop the firm and expand advisory services

Engaging with referrers and external third parties for business development

Explaining tax issues and options clearly to clients and presenting in workshops or training sessions
